Michael+Lana’s West Texas September Wedding

“I’ve always wanted a quiet country wedding where I could walk to the church and get married,” Lana told me wistfully while muted light played on her honey colored hair. A delicate ring with a glimmering diamond in the center caught both of our eyes, and we sipped tea in my kitchen nook, gazing at it and wondering how the wedding would all take shape. Little did either of us know that a whim would take her and Michael by storm a few days later, and they’d say, “Let’s get married this week!”. But they did the very next week, on a misty, grey day in September. It felt like we were living a day in a painting. She held a bouquet of eucalyptus and rosemary, and had a quiet wedding at a country church with an intimate gathering of family to usher them into marriage with joy.
